Life is way too simple, Deep Shikha

“Life is way too simple, but we insist on making it complicated. The most important thing is to enjoy your life-to be happy, it’s all that matters.”
True words about the life we all agree to, but seldom adhere to.

Deep Shikha, from her childhood days, had a great love for writing beautiful poems. She didn’t allow this love fade away with her age. At the mere age of 26, our protagonist wrote an amazing book, named ‘A pinch of life – Sweet n Sour’. The book is a poetry saga. Being interested and influenced by poetry, she admires Robert Frost and his poem- The Road not Taken a lot.

Deep is a public speaker as well. Currently, she is pursuing her education in London. She hopes to work in the marketing sector as well. She is also working on her next book, which would be dedicated to the topic of self-help. During the interview with The Rising Bharat, she expresses her desire to make short films in the near future.

Our hero is a true believer of the three words: NEVER GIVE UP. Her source of inspiration lies in her family, especially her mother who always supported and encouraged her to write and to do what she loves to do. She stated that she held more reasons for living, rather than giving up.
Her message to our generation is: SMILE without selfies, go out and enjoy your life, do things that make you proud, share that pride with people. And there are a lot of better things in this world than drinking and smoking and losing yourself to have fun.

“The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
(-beautiful lines from one of Robert Frost’s poem she shared with us)
