National Achievers Conference 2018 was a successful and insightful event which was held on 3rd June 2018 at the Marriott Hotel, New Delhi. The speakers of National Achievers Conference were energetic, full of enthusiasm and quite insightful with their talks. Mr. Shubham Singhal , founder of The Rising Bharat attended the conference and was impressed and inspired by the speakers.
In National Achievers Conference the first speaker to grace the stage was Boman Irani who was also one of the most energetic speaks of the day. An actor, photographer and a motivational speaker he had inspiring thoughts to share amongst the attendees. He said “Aim for the moon and you’ll land amongst the stars” by which he meant that if one aims for the highest then at least while striving for that you’ll achieve something along the way. He told the crowd that if they want to be the best at what they do then they must focus on two things first being the Quality and second was the Delivery for example, for an actor its important to maintain the emotions of the scene and dialogue i.e. the Quality but the Delivery of those lines in the way which is most fitting to the scene is also just as important. He also stated an important fact that “The perks of the job should not be more than the job itself” which is true because a lot of people before choosing their career or job gives the perks of it more weightage than the job itself which results in people being unhappy with their jobs. He wrapped it all up by saying “Arrogance and Learning do not go hand in hand” he said that if you ever want to learn anything then you should not have an attitude which says you already know this or you don’t need help, if you want to learn something you have to be like a child and learn like one without having any arrogance.
Reshveen Rajendran was our next speaker of National Achievers Conference 2018 who is a full time Investor, an International Speaker and an Author of a bestselling novel. He has built up an investment portfolio of stocks, properties and businesses around the world which made him financially free at just the age of 23, Today he shares the stage with some of the top financial legends. He told the audience that the only way one can be successful in lives is by taking risks and stepping outside your comfort zone, it helps one gain knowledge and experience. He talked about stocks saying that “I buy stocks in a recession” i.e. whenever the price of the stocks go low I buy them and then sell them when the price goes up which was a valuable information of stock owners. He ended up by saying “Concertation is how you become rich, Diversification is how you stay rich”.
J.Surendran was the next speaker of National Achievers Conference and also the Founder and CEO of Success Gyan. Success Gyan is India’s largest organizer of International Seminars and Workshops. While chatting with the crowd he said “ The two important day in a person’s life is when he/she was born and when he/she realizes why they were born” which is something to think about as we all are born in this world but most of us don’t realize our purpose that why were we given the gift of life but when one realizes his/her reason of existence that is a day of revelation.
Rajiv Talreja was the next speaker of National Achievers Conference 2018, full of energy and great comedic timing he made the stage his own. He is amongst the International Bestselling Authors, A Global Speaker and one of India’s Leading Business Coaches. He gave us the 2 principles to focus on, first being “If you are the best in your team, that is the worst thing for your business” as everyone should be included and should be just as good because with just one person being the best the team will fall apart. Second principle was “Impossible is a lie, it is an excuse for not knowing” as there is nothing that is impossible and just calling something impossible because you don’t know about it is an excuse, imagine if Thomas Edison said that making an artificial source of light is impossible or Benjamin Franklin saying that Electricity is impossible? Then we would have been still living in dark ages. Even Impossible has a Possible in itself.
- Karan Hasija was the National Achievers Conference’s next speaker of the day, and author as well as a Motivational Speaker he gave all the young budding authors 5 Steps to write a book.
- Planning- Karan said that planning a book is one of the most important step as book is something people keep for life, it can also turn into an identity of a person therefore planning about a book is a must.
- Brand the book- the saying “Never judge a book by its cover” has gotten old as in todays time everyone likes things which are aesthetically pleasing.
- Write the book- he said that writing the book is when you let your creative juices flow and its easier than the first 2.
- Build the business around the book- This part consists of promotions and how you are going to sell the book.
- Publish the book.
In National Achievers Conference the final speaker and one of the most influential speaker of the day was Gaur Gopal Das. Gaur Gopal Das is an International Life Coach, who has influenced people across the globe with his inspirational talks was the core highlight of the whole event. He mixed humour with learning making the whole experience absolutely amazing with his dynamic personality. He was truly a legend and lived up to his name, he was down to earth and a humble human.
He told us that us human are scared of three things, first is public speaking second is the fear of death and third is the fear of air i.e. being in air (aircrafts etc). He also said that “There are two points birth and death, in between there are challenges and it is on us what we make of them” i.e. the choices we make, there are always challenges and hurdles in our path but it is on us what we do with them, either we can sit and moan about them or we can stand up and face them with wits and smarts.
He also gave us the concept of the 5 C’s: –
- Choose– That is to strive to be a better version of yourself each day.
- Change– He said that change is good and it is good to be updated because if we are not updated we are outdated.
- Contribute– Contribution is to make a difference in the society.
- Collaborate– Collaboration always gets the best out of the situation.
- Conquer– He said that ethical practices should be adopted i.e. privacy with transparency.
Sir also gave us a theory on how a brain of a smart person works, he drew 3 concentric circles naming the outermost What? He named the middle one How? And the innermost Why? Then he stated that a stupid person would read it from outside to inside but a smart one would go from inside to outside solving the problem of why first then how then why.
He wrapped up by saying “Attitude does not distinguish between person to person, it perpetuates it from on to other” which is an important lesson as one should have the same attitude towards everyone instead of distinguishing it from need to need of a person.
The event finally ended with this and left the attendees with ideas to think about and things to improve. It indeed was an enlightening even which made impact of everyone’s mind widening their views and giving them that extra push of motivation they needed. It was one of the best event for new budding entrepreneurs, writers and anyone or everyone who wished to expand the area of their knowledge.
