“ALL HEROES DON’T WEAR CAPES, SOME SEE YOU EVERY DAY AND TEACH YOU TO BE YOUR OWN HERO IN YOUR CAPE”. To dig up more about these inspiring lines, the team of The Rising Bharat interviewed a young growing Indian.
Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education. Our greatest natural resources are the minds of our children and education is that tool with which you can change the world.
But unfortunately, the current education system is at its worst stage.
The plight of government schools and their malfunctioning is not hidden from any one of us but when we think about it… how many of us have ever gathered the boldness to bring about a change in our system?
And that’s the challenge to change the system more than it changes you.
Here is the story of a young boy who took the responsibility of bringing about a transformation. He is Rajesh Mummaneni, a 20-year-old youngster from Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. He established an NGO named Saakshar Organisation in December 2016 which aims at providing quality education to the students by using modern innovative techniques. Apart from textual knowledge, they also focus on character building and personality development of the students.
The unique feature of this organization is that the members of the organization work dedicatedly towards the all-round development of the child. Every child’s progress is tracked and each child is provided with the necessary resources. They fulfil the basic needs of children which encourages them to work towards the betterment of their own self. Counselling sessions are also held to plan a better future for the children. Programmes for primary and secondary levels are also organized. What can be more promising?
It’s rightly said “All heroes don’t wear capes, some see you every day and teach you to be your own hero in your cape”.
The Rising Bharat praises Rajesh who is the unsung hero in the life of these children and providing them opportunity to flourish.
